About GMD®
We build technology that helps detect natural hazards earlier and assess them better – for safer communities and more resilient infrastructure.
Mission
GMD® protects communities, infrastructure and businesses from the impact of heavy rain, floods, debris flows and rockfall. We combine sensing, data analysis and artificial intelligence with hands-on experience in the field.
Our story
GMD® GmbH was founded in Innsbruck, Austria, in February 2024. With GMD® Swiss GmbH in Landquart, Graubünden, we also have a base in Switzerland. Our projects and research collaborations extend well beyond the Alps. [GMD MUSS PRÜFEN: name further locations (e.g. Bolzano) only once open]
